Green Pool Recovery in Vero Beach, FL
A pool turns green after a vacation, a storm or a failed pump. Instead of draining it, we treat and filter the water back to clear — usually in three to five days depending on how far it has gone.
We start with a full water test and an inspection of the equipment, because a bloom that comes back is nearly always a circulation or filtration problem, not a chemical one.
How the recovery works
Day one: net out the debris, brush every surface, clean or backwash the filter, then shock and treat the water. The following days we run the filter long hours, add flocculant if needed, vacuum the dead algae to waste and re-balance the chemistry until the water is clear and stable.

When a drain and clean is the better option
If the plaster is stained, the water is old and heavily stabilised, or the bloom is black algae in the surface itself, chemicals alone will not fix it. In that case we quote a drain and acid wash instead and tell you plainly which one your pool needs.
